Some Potential Rule Changes
#1
Question
Greetings All,

As stated in the meeting yesterday and after some requests we've come up with some new potential rules and wanted to put them to the community to see if you are in favour of them not. The proposed rules we've come up with can be seen below;

Quote:Changes to Rule 7.4

From;
The following roles are prohibited from performing illegal activities such as mugging, hostaging and moonshining; members of the Government, Westerner (Unless you have a custom job), Doctor, Arms Dealer, Chef
  1. Do not perform illegal activities with other roles; so a member of the McLouis gang would not raid with a Chacon Member

  2. Doctors, Arm Dealers and Chef may Moonshine alone with a custom job, however they must prioritise their roles' purpose.

Quote:Changes to 2.4.a

If informed about something that has happened in your previous life you may only respond to it when your NLR timer has expired (After 15 minutes)

Quote:Addition of 7.2.b

If there is no-one available to pay bail for a hostage you may keep and use them for personal gain for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Any votes and comments are much appreciated and we will take them on board while implementing these rules.

If there's no-one available to bail out a hostage then you should execute them or let them go. Nobody really wants to waste 30 minutes of their life to keep themselves restrained from doing anything really other than being pushed around. This will rather make people quit the server and perhaps accept a punishment or ask for permissions (which is what I noticed would most people do)
