A Scottish immigrant who currently resides in Greenwood, Grillville. Mr Baird became known to residents of the town in early 1905 when he stepped into the once derelict Greenwood Tavern undertaking renovations before later taking on the role of the towns innkeeper providing food, music and a safe haven for residents and visitors of Greenwood. Mr Baird has made a small fortune from his venture and now owns two taverns, Greenwood tavern and Fillcum tavern where he offers the best produce and prices in the state. Mr Baird also has business relations with the wealthy Rothsfeller family who provide a number of the ingredients for his famous stew, in return for their business he works at their gambling hall as catering staff. |
